WELCOME BACK!
Hello and Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year. Please be advised that I will be using Google Classroom as my primary means of communication with students. Last year I used this exclusively with great success. It allows for class materials and information / notifications to be uploaded to our Class Feed. Students may then access them as needed. It is also fully integrated with Google Drive, meaning that students may collaborate on assignments, and quickly and easily share their work with me. My goal is to greatly reduce the amount of paper that we need to pass back and forth, and instead work digitally as much as possible.

This year, Google Classroom has a “parent notification” option. Please bear with me as I become more familiar with this. As students sign up for google classroom, I believe that parents will be able to sign up for automatic email notifications regarding student progress and assignments. I think that it will work very similarly as the automatic notifications available through PowerSchool. Please feel free to email me regarding questions about this feature.
