UCONN Human Development and Family Sciences
This class is designed as an introduction to the field of Human Development and Family Sciences and will provide three credits for UConn HDFS190. Students will draw from research and theory in psychology, sociology, and biology to gain a deep understanding of development over the life span. This course will be a valuable prerequisite for those pursuing a career in nursing, teaching, psychology, sociology, counseling, or social work. Job shadows and internship will be an important part of this class, and for this reason the student will have to provide his or her own transportation.
