Hanssen World Cultures 2 profile

European History is a continuation of courses that were taken during the freshman year at Westbrook High School.  This course will cover subjects pertaining to Modern Europe and its foundations.   Students will be graded a number of assignments during the course of this class, including:  projects, papers, and homework.  There will be an emphasis on written expression and oral expression also with the process needed for development of those areas.  Inquiry will also be at the foundation of this course.  Students will learn crucial researching skills to help provide the foundation for quality expression of ideas.  Students will also be expected to keep a well organized notebook.  In this notebook students will keep all assignments, note sheets, and all other important documents.  I look forward to a productive and fun semester.
