Updates from the Music Boosters

February Monthly Meeting- Wednesday February 5th at 5:30pm.

Our monthly meeting is this Wednesday at 5:30pm, not the 6:30 time from past meetings.

In the Wednesday meeting we will touch on the upcoming trip to NYC and the next concerts. We'll also discuss booster membership and leadership for the future. As a side note, we are still looking for a volunteer with photography skills to take concert photos. If you're that person or you know a potential candidate, please reach out.

Please let us know or stop in if there are other topics you would like discussed. New voices, ideas, and people are always welcome!

Westbrook Music Boosters receives a generous $12,000 grant from the Westbrook Foundation

We are thrilled to announce that the Westbrook Music Boosters have received a generous $12,000 grant from the Westbrook Foundation. These funds will be used to help offset the costs of the upcoming trip to New York City! This funding will make it possible for more students to experience the rich cultural and educational opportunities that the city has to offer. We are incredibly grateful for the Foundation's commitment to supporting our students and fostering music education.

Monthly Meeting February 7th at 6:00pm in the WHS Culinary Room

We will try and keep this to a short meeting for those looking to attend the Project Grad meeting at 6:30 across the hallway.

Please come to discuss Senior Award options, upcoming concerts, lesson scholarships and any ideas you would like to bring.

The Poinsettia Fundraiser has become an expected tradition in Westbrook and the neighboring towns and an opportunity for students to generate revenue for the Westbrook Music Boosters, as well as win cash prizes for themselves.

The Music Boosters use the funds to offset costs to music students at all three schools. In the past this has included, reducing travel expenses, providing private lesson scholarships, annual musical achievement prizes & college scholarships, and providing refreshments for the receptions after our large concerts.
