This course focuses on the principles of computer science from the perspective of developing mobile applications.  Students will use the mobile programming language "App Inventor" to design and build mobile apps for Android tablets and smartphones.  The only limit to the type of app you will build is your own imagination!

601112- Graphic Communications

Graphic Communications will focus on the study of advertising and how we graphically relay information in society.  Students will analyze marketing techniques and create their own advertising campaigns to reach their intended markets.  Students will be introduced to Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Adobe Illustrator to create their ads and will also focus on the principles and elements of design in relation to graphic layout.  This class may be taken more than once with the approval of the instructor and an approved learning activity plan.
