Health, Human, and Public Services: Life-Centered Career Education Pathway

Pathway Summary: 

This pathway is for students focused on career readiness and postsecondary outcomes.  This pathway is for those students with Individualized Education Plans who are taught a modified curriculum and take the Alternate State Assessment.  The goal of this pathway program is to prepare students for independent living, competitive employment, or other postsecondary school programs while also focusing on math and English at a functional level.  In addition to work study opportunities, studies also participate in weekly Community Day sessions. 

 Pathway Courses:

  • Life Skills 1, 2, 3, and 4
  • Developmental Language Arts 1, 2, 3, and 4
  • Developmental Math 1, 2, 3,  and 4
  • Work Study
